Cash Flow, Business Management, and Financial Statements

Abstract: This 5 page report discusses the fact that financial management enters a different realm from any other sort of business skill or operation. A manager must be able to track cash flow (both incoming and outgoing), understand the fluctuations of the particular business cycle, allocate resources properly, and understand how to look beyond the basic information presented on a basic financial report. All too often, managers do not adequately focus on the relationship between materials flow and money flow. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
