Feminist Perspective Of The Holy Spirit

Abstract: This 10 page paper discusses possible feminist perspectives regarding the Holy Spirit, the third person in the Trinity. Biblical verses are presented along with a perspective from the feminist activist's point of view. Feminism today lacks the unifying precepts of the 1970s, even so, the activist today would take issue with many of the descriptions of the Holy Spirit. The feminist could well perceive the Holy Spirit as being discriminatory against women. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
