A Comparison of Broadsheet and Tabloid Reporting

Abstract: This 5 page paper considers the way in which the same news worthy event has been reported in a tabloid paper; The Sun, and the quality press; The telegraph. The cases considered is a murder case with the papers differing in both style and perspective. The subjective and the objective aspects of the reporting are noted as well as the way potential bias may influence the reader and the ease of reading. The bibliography cites 4 sources.
