Abstract: A 12 page paper discussing the papal bull, or letter, written by Pope Innocent III in the year 1202. A section discussing the life and times of Pope Innocent III is discussed. This is followed by a section which thoroughly discusses and illustrates the letter itself and the situation in which the letter revolved around. The paper finishes with a discussion about the influences and effects the letter has had on the Catholic church as well as the rest of the world. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
