The Breakdown of Islamic Civilization

Abstract: A short 4 page essay describing some of the historic socio-political events that led to the division of the Islamic empire and the creation of such a marked disparity between Arabs and Muslims. Described is the way that non-Arabs demanded religious legitimacy since it seemed so impossible to be suppressed by people who claimed to believe in the same brotherhood and unity ideals as them. No Bibliography.
