Investing in Funds

Abstract: 5 pages in length. In this model paper the student is to choose a close-ended fund, and open-ended fund and an ADR or or American Depository Receipt. By looking at some of the pertinent ratios of these type funds it is possible to consider their worth in investment. It is beneficial for an investor to include each of these type funds in their portfolio. Their performance can be based on such ratios as the price to equity ratio, its PEG ratio or the stock's price/earnings ratio divided by its year-over-year earnings growth rate.
