The Money Game: A Comparison of Two Philosophies

Abstract: A 12 page discussion of the factors which influence the economic environment of today. Leans heavily on the basic truths identified in two books, Adam Smith's "The Money Game" and John Kennedy Galbraith's "The Affluent Society". Contrasts the approach of Smith, who provides instructions aimed at the few individuals who are interested in capitalizing on their natural greedy tendencies with that of Galbraith who suggests that real profit lies in the construction of infrastructural improvements which allow society as a whole to profit. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
