Income Tax and Business-Related Partnership Income

Abstract: 8 pages in length. This model paper is a hypothetical memo regarding the client and his business of promoting real estate and other kinds of partnerships. The client oftentimes accepts an interest in a partnership he is promoting as compensation, in full or in part, for his services as a promoter. During the coming year the hypothetical client anticipates receiving interests in five partnerships which are outlined in the memo within this paper. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
