Colombia's National Debt

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing the recent history and current status of Colombia's national debt. Colombia continues to doggedly pursue fiscal health, but the needs of the 1980s remain the needs of the present. Colombia will have to develop an active export trade to slow the growth of the national debt. Drug and guerrilla activity keep the nation unattractive for foreign direct investment, which could make an immense contribution to reducing and even overcoming Colombia's national debt.
