Marriage And The Baptist Church

Abstract: A 5 page paper that discusses the controversy caused by the Baptist Faith and Message study committee who proposed a number of new articles for the Church. The most controversial proposal was one that stated wives 'should graciously submit' to their husband's leadership. The debate has to do with the word 'submit.' The arguments of both proponents and opponents are discussed. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
