Crime Prevention.

Abstract: (6 pp) Our classroom-generated assignment asks us to determine the nature of the crime in our community. In order to do that the Uniform Crime Report, which has been in place since the 1940's we will need the number of crimes reported to the police, the crimes cleared by arrest, and the age, gender race of offender, and also use crimes reported by victims and the socio-demographics of victims. Once the type of crime prevalent in the community has been established a program will be developed to address that crime and crime issue. Bibliography lists one source.
